About Dr. Trisha Mor

Dr. Trisha Mor is an experienced ophthalmologist with over fifteen years in clinical and leadership roles in NYC, previously serving as Medical Director of Ophthalmology at Mt. Sinai Hospital, Morningside and West, where she was also the Co-Director of the Retina Service.
Dr. Mor specializes in the medical treatment of the retina, vitreous, and macula, with a clinical focus on the management of diabetic eye disease.
She is fluent in Spanish, which allows her to form long-lasting relationships and provide specialized teaching and care for her Spanish-speaking patient population.

Dr. Mor earned her medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed her postgraduate training at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn and her Ophthalmology residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in Manhattan, where she served as Chief Resident. She further specialized by completing a Medical Retina Fellowship at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center.

Throughout her career, Dr. Mor has been recognized for her excellence and service. Dr. Mor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the New York State Ophthalmological Society.
